Sometimes It's Best to Just Let Them Play

In recent weeks, the neighborhood children have been busy preparing a play. They wrote the script, assigned roles, and are currently conducting auditions, even inviting adults to participate (apparently I am a monster...without trying out...hmmmmmm). They are also organizing costumes and props. It is truly inspiring to witness them independently managing every aspect of this project. There is no adult intervention in the process; they are given the freedom to tackle challenges, express creativity, work together, and communicate. As parents, it is important to allow them to play without criticism, corrections, or interference. Simply...just let them play.
